The goal of the National Trends and Services Facet is to eliminate disparities by reducing barriers to service through advocacy, education, and resources.

LEGISLATIVE ISSUES AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS

Collaboration with local community service organizations yields voter education forums, registration fairs, and other Get Out The Vote/GOTV activities.

WOMEN’S ISSUES AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

Economic forums on financial planning and money management are scheduled for women in the River Region.

WALLET WISE PROGRAM FOR YOUTH

Financial literacy is emphasized through this national initiative in order to provide youth with information on credit reports, budgets, and other financial information pertinent to responsible and successful citizenship.

SCHOOL UNIFORM DRIVE

New and used school uniforms are donated to families within the River Region, based upon documented needs.
